ABOUT ME

After receiving my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, I dove straight into the world of neurological rehabilitation for both adult and geriatric populations (e.g., stroke, Parkinson's disease, general balance, vertigo, multiple sclerosis [MS]). After several years of treating neurologic conditions, I shifted my focus towards orthopedics. I have grown to love treating issues with the neck, shoulders, back, hips, knees, ankles, balance, and endurance. I enjoy working with people at different "levels," given my experience working across a number of different settings, including inpatient rehabilitation, home health, and outpatient PT. This rich practical experience has allowed me to go from treating triathletes to those learning to use a walker for the first time post-op all in the same day! The wellness portion of my business refers to my belief that people should seek "prehab" whenever thinking about trying a new sport/hobby or entering a new stage of life such as parenting!

I have recently taken on the joy of being a stepfather! I am learning a lot and enjoying the process (both the ups and downs). I am slowly getting back into tennis and high-intensity Interval training as I want to regain my health to be a good role model for my clients! I love sci-fi/fantasy action movies, foods from all types of cultures, and being near the water.
